Moving Day—Bigger and Better!

We’re moving locations this next weekend… just two doors down in the same building!

This project has been under development since August 2024!

We will have double the space, so we will be able to have more staff, more hours open for business, and more services to offer.

Kudos to Evola Builds (owned and operated by Michael and Amber Evola), for thoughtfully doing a great job in a timely manner!!! They are throwing us a party and Open House on October 22nd, 2025, from 3:30-5:30pm. The Mayor of Bainbridge Island, Ashley Mathews, will also be in attendance for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

I am also deeply grateful to Molly McCabe of McCabe by Design, for figuring out the floorplan design that incorporated the elements into a workable design.

I am excited for the new digs, not just for the more generous Grooming and Bathing Rooms (which include great lighting, a giant water heater, an industrial exhaust fan, and windows that open).

The most exciting new feature is our QUIET ROOM! It is soundproofed from the Bathing Room, and features a large bathtub and our quietest dryers, along with a couple of tables and kennels.

I designed this area with the more elderly, fragile, and sensitive clients in mind. Those clients who do not tolerate a noisy environment as well. In addition, it is a buffer zone for regular clients to calm down a bit between the Bathing Experience and the Haircut.

We also built an Employee Lounge on the other side of the QUIET ROOM which is intended to be a quiet sanctuary for lunches and breaks.

Closets! Two of them! And a modest office that I swear, I will try to keep neat and uncluttered. ;) As best I can. :) It has really great light and a good vibe.
